CTFO -  2022 We are happy to be presenting a concert hall performance this year. We will be performing SATURDAY -  SEPTERMBER 17, 2022  4 PM at Southern Connecticut State University - Garner Recital Hall Room C112 Englemann Hall.  Join us for a fun concert with 15 flutists on piccolo, C Flute, Alto Flute, Bass Flute, Contrabass flute, Sub Contrabass flut.

 

Supporting CTFO

The Connecticut Flute Orchestra is a collective of Connecticut professional flutists celebrating the rich culture of our state with the sounds, repertoire and diversity of a multi-flute orchestra. Piccolo, Eb flute, alto flute, bass flute, contrabass flute and subcontra bass flute will comprise the orchestra. In 2020 CTFO was a semi-finalist for the "American Prize" in the Community Wind Ensemble category.  Very excited for this honor - after only 3 concerts!

 

Creating Community

The Connecticut Flute Orchestra (CTFO) is designed to appeal to musicians and musical public by playing ambitious, varied repertoire and by promoting a spirit of fun and musical adventure. We want to take risks and try innovative ways to educate and entertain audiences.

CTFO cannot sell tickets in its current venue. All support is through donations and advertising in our program! Please consider a small donation.

CTFO is about creating community

CTFO is all about making great music, creating community – among the musicians, with local businesses, with our audience! We hope to make a difference in Connecticut by providing quality music, more performance opportunities at a high level of artistry for the performers and involvement with the people of all ages in Connecticut.
